The Xi'an Museum is located at the eastern starting point of the Silk Road - the "Tang Chang'an City", with a total area of 160000 square meters. It consists of three parts: the museum, the Tang Jianfu Temple ruins, and the Small Wild Goose Pagoda Historical and Cultural Park.
It is now a world cultural heritage site, a national first-class museum, a national key cultural relic protection unit, a national key protection unit for ancient books, and a national science popularization education base, with a cumulative reception of more than 10 million visitors. The Xi'an Museum currently has a collection of 111457 items, including bronze ware, jade ware, gold and silver ware, porcelain, stone carving, pottery, tri colored ware, calligraphy and painting, sutras, steles, precious books, etc.
